The FMP is an 8 HP Eurorack FM synthesizer module built around the classic Yamaha YM2413 chip, known for its distinctive sound in vintage game consoles like the MSX, Atari, and Sega systems. Capable of producing everything from clean tones, deep kicks, and noisy snares to bell-like textures and even polyphonic chords, the FMP offers two modes: Tone mode provides a 2-operator FM voice with self-modulating feedback, while Drum mode exposes the chip’s built-in percussion sounds with adjustable levels and pitch. Seven parameters shape the sound and CV interpolation between two parameter sets enables evolving, expressive patterns. While inherently lo-fi, the FMP embraces this character to deliver dynamic, gritty textures, with settings that can be saved for consistent recall. Its charm lies in the unpredictability, offering a rich playground.

5. Compatibility:
• This module is designed specifically for Eurorack-compatible systems. Connecting it to non-compatible systems may result in damage or malfunction.
Assembly Requirements
