AI Synthesis AI001 - Multiple

The Multiple module can be used as either a 2×4 passive multiple, or a 1×7. The first set of four are linked together, and if nothing is plugged into the 5th jack, then that signal continues to the 6th, 7th, and 8th as well. If a cable is plugged into the 5th jack, then those signals are distributed to the 6th, 7th, and 8th jacks and it functions as a 2×4 multiple. AI Synthesis AI003 - Looping ADSR

The AI003 DIY Kit is a looping ADSR Envelope Generator. It can be manually triggered via Momentary Push Button, Gated via the Gate Signal, Triggered or re-triggered by a Trigger input, or set into a loop mode via a toggle switch. An LED shows the status of the output. Here is a YouTube video about it.

 

In Gate or Trigger mode, the envelope can be used as a traditional ADSR envelope generator. In loop mode, the output sends a variable exponential waveshape between Ramp, Triangle, and Sawtooth LFO with control over the attack and decay of the LFO shape. The modes are dependent on whether or not the gate jack is inserted, and for triggers, the Sustain level - see the chart below. We will be releasing a more traditional ADSR with "normal" gating functions shortly (but with twice the part count and no AD loop). Check picture (table) for the mode overview.

AI Synthesis AI004 - OTA VCF (MS 20 Filter)

A Loving Tribute to the MS 20 Filter! This OTA Voltage Controlled Filter uses the same filter structure as the venerable Korg MS 20 Filter. The filter is switchable between Lowpass and Hi Pass modes, and features an updated diode gain stage in the resonance section. The VCF will overdrive and distort in both the HP and LP modes, and the resonance can self-oscillation. As with the MS 20 Filter, the Low Pass slope is 12dB/octave and the High Pass slope is 6dB/octave. The CV input is an attenuverter, allowing for dynamic control-voltage of the cutoff. All jacks, knobs, and other components are soldered directly to the PCB. There is no wiring, making this kit ideal for those who have built a simple module before, and are looking for a high quality, legendary filter in an easy to build package.

AI Synthesis AI006 - Stomp Box Adapter

The AI006 Eurorack Stomp box Adapter is an updated take on a classic utility circuit that converts the higher signal levels of a modular system to be converted to the lower level signals that most stomp boxes are designed for. The AI006 stomp box adapter solves two problems. From the Synth input to the "FX"out, the signal is reduced by a factor of 20 to match the signal levels expected by most stomp boxes. From the "FX" input to the Output, the signal is increased by a factor of 20. Passive attenuators are present on both the send and return in case the input or output levels are too great. AI Synthesis AI008 - Matrix Mixer

The AI008 Matrix Mixer is an active, Four In, Three Out matrix Mixer with a summed output. The AI008 can be used to route any of the inputs to any of the outputs. This allows for the creation of feedback patches and other interesting routing, in addition to powerful "regular" signal routing. Common uses include mixing effects outputs into their inputs in order to create drones (or just good old fashioned feedback), mixing oscillators into their own PWM or FM inputs, modulating voltage controlled LFOs and other modulators into themselves, and other feedback patches. AI Synthesis AI010 - Switching Attennuator

The AI010 Eurorack Attenuator is a 2hp dual passive attenuator with switched jacks that allow the attenuator to also work as a multuple. The top-most input is normalled to the second attenuator knob and the third attenuator input. Control voltage is a wonderful way to add expression to a modular patch, and controlling that control voltage is crucial to being able to dial in that expression. A passive eurorack attenuator is a simple un-powered circuit using only resistive elements (usually a potentiometer) to reduce voltage. Rotating the potentiometer will change the output from 0V to 100% of the input without distorting the shape of the incoming voltage. These are simple and primitive, but effective and important methods of controlling voltage, be it the input to a Filter, or the Linear Frequency Modulation input on an Oscillator.
