The CubuSynth Engine can work as 2 independent VCOs, or as one complex FM oscillator. With its inernal "Chaos Engine" it creates semi-random voltages, generated by the 2 oscillator cores. This signal is then normalized to the CV inputs for Pulse width modulation and exponential FM. Each of the 2 VCOs offers a switch to select one of the 4 waveshapes to be used by thewavefolders, and the linear FM input normalisations.

CubuSynth was founded by Ruben Sponar in 2020 and is based in the south of Portugal. The company develops Eurorack modules, a modular synthesiser format.
Ruben, a musician and audio engineer, is responsible for every stage of the process – from PCB layout and design, manual assembly and calibration, to writing manuals, maintaining the website, and personally handling customer support. He is supported by his wife and “partner in crime”, Joana Gregório, who manages content creation, marketing, administration, invoicing, as well as the preparation and shipping of orders.
CubuSynth is a small company driven by passion and dedication. Every detail is carefully taken care of so that each module arrives ready to inspire and nurture the musical creativity of modular synthesis enthusiasts.
