4ms - Percussion Interface & Expander

available

The Percussion Interface (PI) and PI Expander are a pair of Eurorack modules that generate gates and envelopes from acoustic drums, samplers, drum machines, and virtually any audio source.Converting microphone, instrument, line and modular signals into CV and clock/gate signals, the PI and PI Expander are suited for synchronizing sequencers or other modules to the rhythm of an audio track or live percussion. The modules can simultaneously be used as a pre-amp for microphones or line-level signals, while generating inverted envelopes useful for side-chaining. The PI module contains all the core functionality and can be used without the Expander to conserve space. The Expander requires the main PI modules and adds three gain stage options, a modular-level audio output jack, a 1/4" (6.35mm) input jack, and envelope attenuation capabilities. The two modules are only sold together, they are not available separately.Features:• Sensitivity knob, Low/Medium/High gain switch, and clipping LED• Sustain control to prevent misfires, increase gate length, and control the envelope• Envelope decay control• Non-inverted and inverted envelope outputs, useful for side chaining• Four envelope outputs: two attenuated with independent attenuators, and two non-attenuated• Envelope following or generation modes• Gate output for clocking sequencers or any unit with a clock or trigger input• Compatibility with drums, pads, samplers, microphones, piezos, drum machines, etc.• 1/8" or 1/4" input jack (6.35mm)

ADDAC System - 203 CV Mapping

available

This is a new revision of one of our first modules, back from 2010. Now more compact in 6 HP and with an Offset CV input. The incoming signal amplitude is controlled by a [GAIN] attenuverter circuit allowing to attenuate the signal as well as invert its phase. A back jumper can set the maximum gain amount to either x1 (unity gain) or x10. DIY modifications can be made by changing its resistors. After the Gain an offset can be added to the signal, displacing the signal up or down (-5V to +5V) this can be adjusted using the [OFFSET] knob and CV input. When using no input using the [OFFSET] knob and CV input will generate an output between -5V and +5V.DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. All SMD parts are pre-soldered, only trough-hole parts to solder. Black Noise Modular - GOMA Pro

only 2 left

The GOMA Pro pushes the boundaries of the attenuverter-mixer concept.Attenuator, attenuverter, offset generator, voltage generator, waveshaper, distorsion, GOMA Pro can do all of that and more. Engineered for precision, GOMA Pro is crafted using high-quality components to ensure maximum accuracy, including low-tolerance resistors and low-noise op-amps.GOMA Pro offers 3 channels fully analog to amplify (up to x10 gain!), attenuate or polarize (attenuverter) any signal, from CV, audio to line level sources.Additionally, each channel can act as a high precision voltage generator (–10V to +10V) to offset another channel or control external parameters. The 3 channels can be processed separately or summed through cascade mixing, which can extend further than a single module since all the GOMA family (I, II, Pro) can be daisy chained to unlock virtually infinite mixing.DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. All SMD parts are pre-soldered, only trough-hole parts to solder. Frequency Central - Meth Amp

available

Meth Amp is based around the fuzz core of the EH Big Muff pedal. Lovely fuzz and distortion based on the classic Big Muff pedal! It’ll do wooly warm fuzz, subtle tone shaping with a soft saturation/colour, feedback madness and work as a great output VCA (LPG style tones possibly too). The clipping diodes have been replaced by red LEDs to take account of the change in power supply from 9V in the original Big Muff to +/-12V in Meth Amp.To the fuzz core has been added a bunch of OTAs, each controlling a different aspect of audio processing: gain, regen (a new feature - not present in Big Muff), tone and volume. Thereby, each feature is fully voltage controllable.Additionally, there is a separate x100 preamp which can be used to boost external audio for further processing by Meth Amp. Here is a Video about it.DIY-Kit-Type:THT-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. Only trough-hole parts to solder. Music Thing Modular - Mikrophonie v3

sold out at the moment

New and improved version of the classic Mikrophonie contact microphone module. This version incorporates the features of the (now discontinued) Mutable Ears module but allows you to push the preamp into dirtier territory. The kit also includes a choice of 2 x frontpanels allowing the builder to choose whether to have the scratchplate at the top or bottom of the panel.Tom Whitwell the designer of Mikrophonie describes the original  thus:“Mikrophonie is a microphone preamp with a piezo contact mic built into the panel. It is an easy way to bring environmental noise and feedback into a modular system, inspired by the early days of electroacoustic music in Paris and Cologne, and by the contact microphone and phonograph cartridge experiments of John Cage, Gordon Mumma, Robert Ashley and Nicholas Collins. Here is a wonderful film from 1966 of Stockhausen & Co performing Mikrophonie 1.The panel scratchpad has quite a nice rough texture – rubbing it with a finger or a plectrum creates quite a wide range of sounds. The back of the panel is plated and grounded for shielding; the peizo microphone can either be soldered directly to the copper or stuck on with epoxy glue.”This new version of Mikrophonie improves the amplifier circuit and adds the following features from the Ears version by Emilie Gillet• An envelope follower, translating the decaying amplitude profile of a tap into an envelope CV.• A gate detector, translating taps into gate signals.• The envelope follower and gate detector can process external signals as well as the built in contact mic.Specs:• High quality Audio Amp with extended gain range over Ears.• External input bypassing the built-in contact microphone.• Envelope follower with 3 preset attack and release times (adjustable by jumper).• Gate detector with 3 preset sensitivity levels (adjustable by jumper) and +8V gate output.• Three indicator LEDs for amplifier clipping, envelope follower level and gate detector activity. This kit contains all parts to build the module, right down to the power cable and the screws. Internal contact mic is included. The module will work with a range of external contact mics including  DIYed creations made from inexpensive piezo transducers, and off the shelf contact mics. We recommend to use it with LeafAudio's contact mics which are known to be very good.DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module.
