Power your pedals directly from your Eurorackcase with Pedal POW – a compact dual power supply that delivers two isolated 9 V outputs, each capable of supplying up to 500 mA to run your stompboxes reliably on stage or in the studio.Pedal POW converts your Eurorack +12 V rail to clean 9 V pedal power while sharing the available energy with your modular synth. Because Pedal POW depends on your Eurorack power supply, its total available power cannot exceed what your Eurorack PSU can provide. Make sure your Eurorack power supply has enough headroom to run all installed modules plus anything you connect to Pedal POW.Each Pedal POW output can supply a maximum of 500 mA. Keep in mind the conversion draw: every 1 mA delivered by Pedal POW draws approximately 0.8 mA from the +12 V rail. For example, to deliver the full 500 mA on one output you must provide 500 mA × 0.8 = 400 mA from the +12 V rail. If both outputs are used at their maximum, the pedals would draw 500 mA + 500 mA = 1000 mA, which corresponds to 1000 mA × 0.8 = 800 mA from your +12 V bus. Before connecting multiple high-current pedals, verify your Eurorack power budget and factor in the Pedal POW conversion rate. Use the product’s reference table or this conversion rule (1 mA at Pedal POW ≈ 0.8 mA from +12 V) to quickly calculate how much current you need from your Eurorack supply so you can avoid overloading the system and keep your rig stable.Features:• 1U Intellijel format• Dual power supply with two isolated outputs, each providing 500 mA• Center negative (-) polarityDIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. Pedal S-R is the perfect stereo interface for integrating external effects into your Eurorack system. This compact stereo pedal insert adapts hot modular signal levels to the levels and impedance required by stereo or mono stompboxes, pedals and outboard gear, making it simple to route modular sounds through your favorite effects. The Sends section attenuates typical Eurorack signals (≈10 Vpp) down to usable line or instrument levels so pedals behave as intended and clipping is avoided. The Returns section includes a dedicated volume control to blend processed signal back into the modular at a comfortable level, keeping your patch balanced and musical.Pedal S-R also features a Hi-Z switch that lets you select between standard and high-impedance inputs. Flip it when connecting pedals or effects that expect a guitar amp or passive pickups to preserve tone, dynamics and clarity.Features:• Fully compatible with Befaco 7U Case and Intellijel 7U and Palette cases rear Jack connectors• 1U Intellijel format• HI Z switch• Full control over the relationship between your modular system and external pedals or effects unitsDIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. Analog Thru-Zero Wavefolding VCO/LFOPony VCO is a fully analog Thru-Zero oscillator with wavefolder and dedicated VCA in only 4HP. The module offers great stability and tuning capabilities thanks to its powerful core, based on Sound Semiconductors IC. It comes with range selector, that allows it to go down to LFO range, as well as octave and waveform selectors. In Through Zero oscillators, frequency is controlled by either positive and negative voltage. If FM CV goes below zero, the core will continue oscillating inverting its phase. This “little” change of behaviour allows the core to create a whole new range of timbres that are just impossible to achieve with regular VCOs. If you set the module as LFO, the range of funky modulations will be endless! There is a separate panel for conversion to 1U available. You can use the 1U panel with the normal 3U module, but have to buy it additionally and you have to make some changes by soldering a hand full of SMD parts, but it's quite easy. 1U format keeping the same functionality and control layout. In Through Zero oscillators, frequency is controlled by either positive and negative voltage. Rampage is Befaco’s approach to an old invention: the Serge/Buchla ramp generator. We took the idea of a “patch programmable” function generator/processor, put two units in the same module and expanded them with new functions and ways to combine them: Slope detectors, analogue logic functions and evolved outputs.RAMPAGE APPLICATIONS• Voltage controlled Attack Decay envelope.• Attack Sustain Release Envelope .• More complex ADSR Style Envelope.• Dual VCO. The Sampling Modulator is a multi-function module that lies somewhere between a VCO, a Sample & Hold, and an 8 step trigger sequencer.Sequencer Clocked Sample & Hold In this mode it acts like a regular Sample and Hold (S&H) but since it is “sequencer clocked”, it is capable of much more interesting patterns than the usual S&H melodies. The CLOCK input can work in two ways: 1. As a typical clock 2. In “positive going hard sync” mode allowing you to create shuffling and polyrythmic effects. The HOLD input can be used to keep certain notes playing.Analog Down-Sampling Effect In this mode (with the clock running at audio rates) you can go from nasty and harsh sampling rate reduction to an almost clean signal. (The clock run up to 25Khz without external CV and up to 200Khz with CV on the input).Sampling Modulator/Shaper Thanks to the V/Oct clock, by feeding a simple waveshape such as a sine wave to IN, and pitch CV to the VCO as well as to the Sampling Modulator CV input, their related frequencies and aliasing caused by the sampling rate reduction are capable of creating clangorous metallic sounds, 8 bit textures and much more. The game becomes much more interesting when you try to destroy the wave by flipping on and off the switches of the sequencer (which at times can make it sound like three VCOs running in unison). To understand how the Sampling Modulator works, keep in mind that we are working with a temperature compensated ramp core VCO with more than 4 octaves of tracking. This allows the timbre to stay the same while you move through the scale as the internal and external VCOs are synced in a fashion similar to “frequency related sampling rate modulation”Unusual V/oct VCO You can use the trigger outputs as a pulse VCO. Voltage-controlled lag processor and slope detector - 2025 versionTransforms stepped notes into smooth acid slides with independent speeds for both upper and lower notes. The onboard slope detector generates gates while the output is rising or falling, allowing events to be activated when moving to upper or lower voltages.Additionally, it can convert a gate signal into an Attack-Sustain-Release (ASR) envelope. The shape control feature helps balance speed versus input range, enabling quicker speed while sliding to further notes allowing for time compensated portamento.DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. This is our take on an analog spring reverb module. Featuring VCAs for the two available inputs (with different routing), CV control for DRY/WET and visual feedback for signal levels at input and output of the tank.Reverberation can be defined as the sum of all the reflections created from an initial sound source within a space, at a point within that space, over time.To simulate this effect we can pass a sound through a spring with two transducers at either end. As the sound propagates it will cause the spring to expand and contract, creating a series of reflections that are picked up by the transducers (along with the original sound). This creates a simulation of reverberation with (in the case of spring of the reverb) a characteristic and classic colour.Electronically generated audio will usually sound starkly different to acoustically generated sound. This is more-often-than-not a desirable thing, but there are times when you might want to bring the “depth” of an acoustic environment back into your mix.The obvious difference between acoustic and synthesised sounds is that acoustic instruments have resonators, and exist in reverberant spaces. One way to add depth to an electronic sound is to somehow simulate the characteristics of a space, and mix this with the original signal.Features:• Two CV controlled audio inputs. In 1 (routed to Dry) and In 2 (routed directly to the tank)• Two independent Mix and Wet output.• High-pass filter on tank’s input to control the colour of the reverberation.• Vu-Meter to visualize level on Wet output.DIY-Kit-Type:THT-Kit-1.
