The Mutes mk2, developed in collaboration with Ben Wilson (aka DivKid), is a powerful upgrade to the original performance muting module. Now using VCA-based technology, it delivers improved signal integrity, reduced noise floor, and zero bleed, while preserving the smooth, vactrol-style response. Each channel features a performative three-way switch (momentary–off–on), perfect for live dub-style FX routing and dynamic signal control. Mutes Mk2 enables signal splitting to multiple destinations, expanding your modular performance possibilities. This updated version includes both a standard 3U panel and an additional Intellijel-format 1U panel, allowing for versatile mounting in various Eurorack setups.

Creating a YouTube channel in 2014 allowed me to both document my own journey through music and technology but also to work with companies and individuals to teach synthesis and sound design techniques through the creation of in depth product demos, demonstrating equipment in a raw technical form looking at features while exploring musical examples.
The technical and educational sides of the video demonstrations alongside my background and continuing practice of music creation has led to beta testing and product development as well as consultation with a wide range of both hardware and software music companies – often on the cutting edge of instrument design and music technology.
Striving to fulfil needs and gaps in the Eurorack marketplace, a series of collaborative DivKid modules launched in 2019 with more collaboration and modules to come in the future.
