ADDAC System - 200CT Cable Tester
sold out at the moment
Introducing ADDAC’s Cable Tester, a desktop utility that provides a reliable means to test the integrity of both mono jacks and ribbon cables, ensuring that every connection is secure and electrically sound.Individual Wire Testing - Featuring the ability to test each wire within the ribbon cables independently with dedicated LEDs for every wire, providing a clear visual indication of the status of each connection, wires are also tested against their neighbouring wires to detect shorts.BUSBOARD MONITORThe busboard monitor leds allows the user to check the state of the busboard power lines as well as the special CV/Gate functions. If the busboard has no +5v supply the led will be off likewise for the CV/Gate functions if not in use. This is a desktop device, we provide a long power cable so that it can still be plugged into your rack.As a safety precaution only power this board when you need to test a cable. Leaving it ON at all times can lead to unintended problematic misuses which, in a worst case scenario, can shorten your Eurorack PSU,! WARNING !DO NOT POWER MODULES FROM THE TEST SOCKETS!!Compatible with all ADDAC System ribbon cables (power, expansions and interconnectivity: 112, 213, 807).Also compatible with any standard Eurorack power ribbon cable (2x5 to 2x8 or 2x8 to 2x8).! WARNING !NOT ALL MANUFACTURERS FOLLOW THESE STANDARDS!ALLWAYS NOTICE THE ORIENTATION OF THE HEADERS IF YOUR CABLE DO NOT FOLLOW THE STANDARD THEN MOST PROBABLY IS NOT COMPATIBLE.DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. All SMD parts are pre-soldered, only trough-hole parts to solder. Jolin - Nexum
sold out at the moment
NEXUM is a smart eurorack multi-cable tester.Plug a cable in one of the sockets and the other end specularly on the opposite side. Check if the blue LEDs light up steady in a number equal to the cores of the cable you are testing. Wiggle the wire back and forth just to be sure that all the individual cores are firmly connected.Due to its configuration, the connection is considered true only if there is no continuity between the adjacent wires or discontinuity in that specific core. This smart feature will avoid false positives.Features:• Universal eurorack power cable tester - 10 and 16 pins 2.54mm.• Mono and stereo patch cable compatibility - 3.5mm TS and TRS.• Additional 20 pins 1.27mm / 2.00mm sockets.• Power line indicators.• Single board design - extremely skiff friendly.• “Whatever” power connector a.k.a. don’t mind the polarity.DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. All SMD parts are pre-soldered, only trough-hole parts to solder. Joranalogue - Test 3
sold out at the moment
Test 3 is a purpose-designed tool for measuring voltages and currents in your Eurorack system. This means that just a single circuit board or module can now replace a convoluted test setup with multiple multimeters, custom cables etc.Two push buttons allow you to cycle the value shown on the LED display between three measurements (voltage, current and stored peak current) of the three power rails. The peak currents continually update in the background on all rails, making it ideal for quickly getting maximum current figures.Apart from measuring the current draw of a single module, Test 3 also supports testing power supplies and cables, measuring an entire system (up to 1 A of current on each rail), troubleshooting DIY modules, powering a skiff or breadboard from a larger system...Note: Test 3 is available as a (very easy) do-it-yourself project, requiring some soldering and basic tools. It can be built either as a standalone circuit board with the DIY Kit, or as a Eurorack module with both the DIY Kit and Front Panel Kit. Most dealers bundle both kits together. With just 11 components to solder, this is a perfect synth DIY beginner project!Features:• Measures up to 20 V and 1 A on each Eurorack power rail, including +5 V.• 20 mV resolution voltage measurement, 1 mA resolution current measurement.• Peak current values of all rails are continually updated.• Pre-soldered SMD parts: perfect DIY project for beginners.• Precision-milled 2 mm anodised aluminium front panel with high-resolution, non-erasable graphics (module version).• Bullet-proof design: polarised power headers and MOSFET protection circuit.• Includes 16-to-16-pin Eurorack power ribbon cable.• Premium mounting hardware: black screws, black plastic washers and matching hex key (module version).• High-quality components and assembly; designed and made in Belgium.DIY-Kit-Type:THT-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. Only trough-hole parts to solder. Make sure to check the build guide before you buy. Threetom Modular - Wiretap v2
available
As someone who is developing Eurorack modules, I always found it tedious to visualize signals coming from the modular synth on my oscilloscope. The reason for this is that there’s really no convenient adapters for this (well, as far as I know at least). Most workarounds to this problem suffer from two problems: a) They’re usually mechanically unstable, and b) most of the times I would need to redistribute the visualized signal to somewhere else, which requires extra cables and a mult. To alleviate these issues I’ve created the the THREETOM Wiretap, a 2-way mult that you can directly mount onto a BNC connector. This is a fully assembled Wiretap adapter, no assembly required, just plug and play!
