ADDAC System - 107 Acid Source

only 2 left

We started this module with the idea of developing a complex drum source. However, somewhere along the process we noticed how much better it performed as a synth voice and simply embraced this lucky accident. It features a VCO with a [FREQUENCY] and [FINE TUNE] knob plus a dedicated CV Input and Attenuator knob (tunable over 4 octaves). The VCO waveform output is achieved by selecting either a Triangle or Saw through a switch. The selected waveform can then be mixed/balanced against the square wave. The resulting mix is then sent to the Filter. The Filter features a [CUTOFF] and [RESO] resonance knob plus a Cutoff CV Input and Attenuverter knob.A 3 position switch is used to select the filter type: Highpass, Bandpass or Lowpass. The resulting output is then sent to the VCA.The VCA features an Input with [INPUT GAIN] knob which at maximum can amplify the incoming signal by a factor of 2.This is a very important control, it accepts any signal Trigger, Gate or CV. Whatever input is plugged in the signal is then fed through an AD with a very short attack and controllable decay through the [VCA DECAY] knob plus the CV Input and Attenuverter knob. The resulting slewed signal is then used to control the VCA gain. This signal is also sent to the CV OUTPUT as well as the LED monitor. The Accent input adds to the Input signal creating a different amplitude output. The CV OUTPUT is normalled to the Frequency and Cutoff inputs.DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-2. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. It includes SMD and through-hole parts! For build guide, more info, videos etc. please check the buttons below.

ADDAC System - 216 Sum & Difference

available

There are two equal sections in this module labeled A and B.This module is a peculiar type of mixer that instead of just summing two input signals (X & Y), it also allows the possibility to subtract the two signals. It works both for audio and CV signals and hence allows for the possibility to get the diference of two CVs or cancel the phase of two audio signals. The resulting signal, of sum or subtraction, is then routed through a switchable (on/off) full rectification circuit labeled: Absolute. After this the gain of the mixed signal goes through another attenuverter labeled: Amplitude to control the resulting signal gain which, being an attenuverter, also allows the possibility to invert the incoming signal. After the Amplitude comes an AC/DC coupling switch followed by an bipolar Offset knob.Besides the normal output there’s also an inverted output for each of the A & B sections. The outputs of section A & B are also summed and sent to the Average Output.Using a single input, just the X or Y input, the module can also be used as a simple dual Attenuverter & Offset CV processor with full rectification and AC coupling options.Features:• 2 independent sections each with:• 2 inputs with gain attenuverters• Amplitude attenuverter and bipolar Offset• Absolute/Bipolar and AC/DC switches• Output and inverted output• 2 leds monitor the Output polarities and gain.DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-2. ADDAC System - 306 VC Transitions

available

ADDAC306 is a 5 channel multi-directional CV generator. You can think of it as a "sweet spot" controller, or a hands-on way of transiting from one state to another. Each of the five channels has MINIMUM, SPAN and DIRECTION controls, a common CV IN and a common TRANSITION CONTROLLER slider.MINIMUM sets the minimum channel voltage.SPAN sets the voltage range of the channel. It essentially sets the maximum voltage that can be output from the channel, relative to what the current channel MINIMUM is. For a given SPAN value, if the MINIMUM voltage is changed then the maximum voltage output from that channel will also change respectively.DIRECTION sets whether the voltage transition for each channel goes from MINIMUM to maximum, or maximum to MINIMUM.The TRANSITION CONTROLLER slider controls the transition from the minimum value (A) to the maximum value (B) or vice versa, according to the settings of each independent channel.Moving this slider generates 5 different voltages with 5 different ranges and directions. The transition can also be operated from a CV source at the CV IN, in which case the slider position acts as an attenuator for the incoming voltage. The maximum range of each channel can be set to either 5 or 10 volts, by 5 jumpers in the back of the module. Only positive voltages are generated at the output.Using the CV IN you can use two ADDAC306 modules to expand your control options to 9 voltage outputs under one common slider control.Use the VC Transitions to multiply the polyphony of a single CV sequencer by passing its outputs through the ADDAC207.VC Transitions makes for an awesome state transition controller. Plug its outputs to various CV controller parameters of your audio effects modules. Set the slider to position A, and set the minimum values for each channel. Then move the slider to position B and set the SPAN settings for each channel. Use the TRANSITION CONTROLLER slider to morph from state A to state B and backwards. Flip the DIRECTION switches to change the direction of the transition for each channel. Use the CV IN to automate the transition using LFOs, ADSRs or sequencers.Plug the output of your ADSR envelope to the CV IN and set the channels differently to get 5 different ADSRs from one common source. This module's development was based on an initial idea by Konstantine Fioretos.DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-2. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. It includes SMD and through-hole parts! cDVCA or class-D VCA is a new kind of VCA based on an entirely novel concept that is inspired from class-D amplification technology. The PWM is scaled to the desired amplitude and then filtered back down to the original signal. The twist: The PWM frequency can be lowered down into the audio spectrum and the frequency can be controlled via its 1V/oct input allowing for crazy waveshaping that tracks your melodies. The drive controls an innovative clipping method that does not rely on overdriving any circuitry and therefore results in distortions with a very defined character. The signal then goes into a 1 pole VCF/tone circuit that allows to keep things under some amount of control as the harmonics produced by this module can be very aggressive. With no input the module generates a simple square wave and therefore can be used a simple synth voice (VCO→VCA-VCF)DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. Muxlicer is a sequential signal processor designed for add a huge range of special functions to your modular setup in the minimum space. Is divided in three main blocks: a Digital Step Controller, a Gate Generator and an Analog Switch (a.k.a. Mux/DeMux)The module is designed with high “function to HP ratio” philosophy , to have maximum flexibility in minimum space. An analog switch is a device capable of switching or routing analog signals. In the case of Muxlicer, the switch is reversible, so you can send 8 different signals to 1 destination and viceversa.Through Common I/O you can either send a signal to the Mux I/Os or receive a signal from them. (Depending on how the module is connected). It is also used as CV Out when nothing is connected to “All In” or “Mux I/Os”. The eight Mux I/Os are normalled to “All In” jack, so any signal present at this input will go to all of them.Imagine you want to send a signal to steps 1,2,4,5,6 and 8 and two more signals to 3 and 7 respectively. Befaco - Sampling Modulator

available

The Sampling Modulator is a multi-function module that lies somewhere between a VCO, a Sample & Hold, and an 8 step trigger sequencer.Sequencer Clocked Sample & Hold In this mode it acts like a regular Sample and Hold (S&H) but since it is “sequencer clocked”, it is capable of much more interesting patterns than the usual S&H melodies. The CLOCK input can work in two ways: 1. As a typical clock 2. In “positive going hard sync” mode allowing you to create shuffling and polyrythmic effects. The HOLD input can be used to keep certain notes playing.Analog Down-Sampling Effect In this mode (with the clock running at audio rates) you can go from nasty and harsh sampling rate reduction to an almost clean signal. (The clock run up to 25Khz without external CV and up to 200Khz with CV on the input).Sampling Modulator/Shaper Thanks to the V/Oct clock, by feeding a simple waveshape such as a sine wave to IN, and pitch CV to the VCO as well as to the Sampling Modulator CV input, their related frequencies and aliasing caused by the sampling rate reduction are capable of creating clangorous metallic sounds, 8 bit textures and much more. The game becomes much more interesting when you try to destroy the wave by flipping on and off the switches of the sequencer (which at times can make it sound like three VCOs running in unison). To understand how the Sampling Modulator works, keep in mind that we are working with a temperature compensated ramp core VCO with more than 4 octaves of tracking. This allows the timbre to stay the same while you move through the scale as the internal and external VCOs are synced in a fashion similar to “frequency related sampling rate modulation”Unusual V/oct VCO You can use the trigger outputs as a pulse VCO.
