The Exploding Shed Workbench Mat provides a reliable, well-organised surface for assembling Eurorack DIY kits, repairing electronics and carrying out soldering work.
Its antistatic design helps protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge. The included adjustable wrist strap, coiled grounding cables and earth bonding plug connect the user and mat to a suitable grounding point, creating a more controlled, ESD-safe workspace when correctly installed.
Multiple integrated compartments keep screws, tools and small components organized and within easy reach. The three upper compartments are magnetic, helping prevent metal screws, nuts and other small parts from moving around or becoming lost while you work.
A built-in ruler marked in both millimetres and inches makes it easy to take quick measurements directly at the workbench. The spacious central work area provides plenty of room for PCBs, Eurorack modules and other electronic assemblies.
The removable ESD mat insert can also be taken out and used separately, providing a flexible antistatic work surface wherever it is needed.
Made from durable, heat-resistant material, the mat is suitable for soldering and helps protect the workbench from heat, scratches and everyday wear. Its non-slip surface remains stable during detailed assembly and repair work and is easy to clean after use.
