M3 threaded strip for Eurorack rails and electronic enclosure systems.
The strip provides fixed M3 mounting points at the standard 5.08 mm spacing used for Eurorack modules. It slides into all Tech Creation Lab rail profiles and offers a simple alternative to individual sliding nuts.
Available in several lengths for different Eurorack case sizes.
Eurorack Threaded Strip
A threaded strip sits inside the mounting rail of a Eurorack case and provides the threads used to secure modules with M3 screws.
Unlike sliding nuts, the mounting points remain evenly spaced along the entire rail. The 5.08 mm spacing corresponds to the standard 1 HP Eurorack grid.
Ettinger Threaded Strip Alternative
Exploding Shed previously supplied Ettinger M3 threaded strips for our Eurorack rail systems.
Our threaded strips are manufactured specifically for Tech Creation Lab and are designed for the same M3 mounting applications with 5.08 mm spacing as strips from other manufacturers, such as Ettinger.
Our current M3 threaded strips are a direct replacement for the Ettinger threaded strips previously supplied and can be used in their place.
Threaded Strips or Sliding Nuts?
Both systems are commonly used in Eurorack cases. Threaded strips provide fixed M3 mounting points at 5.08 mm intervals along the entire rail. Sliding nuts move freely inside the rail and can be positioned individually.
Threaded strips are generally quicker to use when installing or rearranging several modules, while sliding nuts allow completely free screw positioning.
