Product information "Midiphy - zetaSID (Assembled)"
A single zetaSID works as a monophonic CV/gate-controlled SID voice, while multiple units can be linked into a larger polyphonic instrument. With nexusMIDI and phybus expansion, zetaSID can grow into a full MIDI-controlled synthesizer with up to six stereo voices, while unused CV and gate inputs can be reassigned as additional modulation sources.
The sound engine includes six LFOs, two advanced envelopes, eight modulation paths, four wave sequencers, three oscillator arpeggiators and a 24 × 14 trigger matrix. This allows everything from classic chiptune tones and animated arpeggios to acid-style basslines, evolving digital textures and percussive C64-inspired sounds. zetaSID also includes Lead, Bassline and Drum engines, giving it a wide range of synthesis options in a very small footprint.
The integrated OLED display visualizes oscillator outputs, arpeggio patterns, filter curves and other sound parameters, making patch editing more immediate. Thanks to phybus UI cooperation, multiple zetaSID modules can work together as one expanded interface, with different units controlling different parts of the same patch.
zetaSID ships with 100 preset patches in its internal ROM bank and supports optional microSD storage for session recall and patch handling. With its milled aluminium front panel, compact depth and strong modular connectivity, zetaSID is a powerful SID-inspired Eurorack voice for chiptune, basslines, drums, experimental synthesis and expandable polyphonic setups.
