4ms - Percussion Interface & Expander

available

The Percussion Interface (PI) and PI Expander are a pair of Eurorack modules that generate gates and envelopes from acoustic drums, samplers, drum machines, and virtually any audio source.Converting microphone, instrument, line and modular signals into CV and clock/gate signals, the PI and PI Expander are suited for synchronizing sequencers or other modules to the rhythm of an audio track or live percussion. The modules can simultaneously be used as a pre-amp for microphones or line-level signals, while generating inverted envelopes useful for side-chaining. The PI module contains all the core functionality and can be used without the Expander to conserve space. The Expander requires the main PI modules and adds three gain stage options, a modular-level audio output jack, a 1/4" (6.35mm) input jack, and envelope attenuation capabilities. The two modules are only sold together, they are not available separately.Features:• Sensitivity knob, Low/Medium/High gain switch, and clipping LED• Sustain control to prevent misfires, increase gate length, and control the envelope• Envelope decay control• Non-inverted and inverted envelope outputs, useful for side chaining• Four envelope outputs: two attenuated with independent attenuators, and two non-attenuated• Envelope following or generation modes• Gate output for clocking sequencers or any unit with a clock or trigger input• Compatibility with drums, pads, samplers, microphones, piezos, drum machines, etc.• 1/8" or 1/4" input jack (6.35mm)

ADDAC System - 308 Light to CV

available

Another addition to our ADDAC300’s Expressive Controls series. This module converts the incoming light hitting an external light sensor into 2 Bipolar CV Streams:Output: More light > Higher CV outputInverted Output: More light > Lower CV outputThe external sensor is enclosed in a jack socket in order to be used with any standard jack cable and be able to place it in any place outside the Eurorack frame. There are several controls to adjust the CV Output’s signals:• Sensitivity: Adjusts the Light Sensor sensitivity to Light. The Higher the sensitivity the better it responds to low light situations.• Response: 3 fixed settings (medium/fast/slow) to set the slew applied to the raw signal coming from the sensor.• Gain: Sets the gain for both outputs• Offset: Adjusts the Offset for the main Output.• Inverted Offset: Adjusts the Offset for the Inverted Output.DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. All SMD parts are pre-soldered, only trough-hole parts to solder. ADDAC System - 309 CV To Expression

available

ADDAC309 CV to Expression allows a simple and straight forward connection between modular and effect pedals that features expression pedal TRS inputs.Instead of using an expression pedal into the effects pedal the user can use this module in between a CV source and the effects pedal to be controlled. This is a great way to control the available parameters on the effects pedals straight from a CV source.ADDAC309 features 2 channels each with a CV input with attenuator and a 1/4" jack output. This is a passive module, the power needed for operation is taken from the pedal power instead of the modular frame, this allows for perfect matching of the pedal’s operating voltage which can range from 3,3 V to 9 V.DIY-Kit-Type:THT-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. Only trough-hole parts to solder. Make sure to check the build guide before you buy. Now introducing PIPE in our sleek Black & Gold theme, featuring a reversible faceplate. Feel like installing your PIPE upside down? No worries – just unscrew the 8 jnuts, flip the faceplate, and put everything back together and Voila! You can now use your PIPE with the connector facing down! With the ability to connect up to 8 inputs or outputs via an ethernet cable, the PIPE-S makes it easy to connect multiple cases together or avoid any cable mess accross a case. This makes it the perfect solution for simply setting up your Eurorack system in the studio or a live gig. But that's not all, PIPE can also be used as a multiple passive 3 section. Want to transmit precise signals like pitch CV and want to avoid crosstalk induced by passive multiples? No worries you can easily deactivate this function for each section from the connector at the back of the module. The best part is that PIPE is completely passive which means you can place it anywhere, it doesn't draw any current from your power supply, which perhaps makes it the simplest DIY module! PIPE modules are sold by pair. The ethernet cable is not supplied with the modules Regarding Ethernet cable We recommend shielded Straight-Thru RJ45 cable. Using un-shielded or Crossover cable won't damage your modules but you may experience noise and or mixed channels. Due to its passive nature we also recommend to avoid long ethernet cables. Clatters Machines - Garden Listener

only 1 left

The Garden Listener Eurorack module detects conductivity variations on living beings’ surface and transforms them into MIDI notes and CV signals. For once, leave those LFOs alone, and let any living conductive being modulate your signals. It detects conductivity variations on living beings’ surface and transforms them into MIDI notes, ranging from C-1 to C8, and CV signals (0 – 5V).Its behavior can be tamed through the one-knob menu from which you can choose and modify:• probes’ sensitivity (making it more or less sensitive to current variations)• scale (chromatic, major, minor, indian and arabic)• MIDI channel (from 1 up to 16)• LEDs’ brightnessIt generates trigger, gate, and CV (1V/oct). The CV output behavior can be modified via an octave selector which acts as a “CV equalizer” from which you can choose to generate CV only if the respective MIDI note lies within a certain octave range. The MIDI output allows you to take advantage of the sound of either any synthesizer equipped with a MIDI port or any VST in your DAW.The module comes with 3.5mm white probes and a set of snap-on adhesive reusable electrode pads. A MIDI-TRS type A adapter (not included) is required for the MIDI output.DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. This is a Do-It-Yourself kit, not an assembled module. The kit includes all parts to build the module. Music Thing Modular - 8mu MIDI-Controller

sold out at the moment

Pocket-sized MIDI controller with built in Accelerometer! The 8mu is a pocket-sized MIDI controller (slightly smaller than a credit card!) with eight faders that can send messages via MIDI. The 8mu also has a built in accelerometer which measures how the device is being held. This creates eight more control signals, mapped to gestures like “lift the front” or “turn me over”. There are four tiny buttons along the top edge, which can be configured to send MIDI notes (like a keyboard) or control signals.MIDI data is sent via a 3.5mm TRS MIDI output, which can be Type A or Type B, and via USB-C. Only standard USB data lines are used, so it should work on any USB computer with an adaptor. The device is also powered via USB. 8mu can store 8 banks of CC settings which can be accessed using the left and right buttons on each side of the device.8mu has a web editor where you can edit all the settings: Launch the 8mu Editor, and there is a quickstart guide printed on the back or get a quickstart PDF by the buttons below. The 8mu design was inspired by the 16n project but the hardware is quite different. The editor is a modified version of the 16n editor by Tom Armitage. 8mu cannot send i2c or CV, but it’s designed to be open and hackable and can be re-programmed in Arduino or Circuit Python code.Features:• Size: 81 x 47 mm• The body is 13 mm tall, or 24 mm with the faders and fader caps• It weighs 65 gDIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1.
