Plinky 12 Blocks is an expressive polyphonic synthesizer and multi-timbral groovebox built around the Plinky 12 touch interface. Its 16 × 16 RGB matrix of pressure-sensitive capacitive pads turns performance, sequencing and sound design into one fluid surface, combining the immediacy of touch with the depth of a programmable digital instrument.
Blocks expands the original Plinky concept into a wider performance environment with 10 tracks for sequencing, live playing and editing. It supports clip launching, chord sequencing, piano-roll style control and live insert effects, making it a flexible instrument for building evolving patterns, layered textures and complete musical ideas.
The built-in synth engine combines sample playback with wavetable synthesis and includes a VCF, VCA, wavefolder, ADSR, XY control, motion-recording LFOs, additional modulation LFOs, accelerometer control and a 5 × 30 modulation matrix. With CV, MIDI, USB audio and SD card support, Plinky 12 Blocks connects easily to Eurorack systems, MIDI hardware and computer-based setups.
