Stereo Strip takes the idea of a channel strip and makes it modular. We hope that by bringing this long-established component of the audio engineering world into the Eurorack environment and by adding CV control over its key parameters that you will find new, creative ways to use it in your patches! It features stereo inputs and outputs for audio or CV with EQ, voltage controlled panning, stereo VCA, performable mute and input/output level switching for Eurorack or line level uses. Abusing the input level switching allows for some musical, modulate-able and highly shapeable distortion sounds too.Stereo Strip was designed to be a creative part of a modular patch. Creating stereo images from mono sources, shaping and modulating existing stereo images, synthesising stereo pseudo ring modulation, sweetening FX with EQ or drastically wave shaping your oscillators, creating send FX routings with benefits or it can simply be used as a channel strip at the end of chain in a patch. The addition of line level gain boosting (for the input) or reduction (for the output) allow it to work as a stereo input or output interface for external gear with the advantage of the VCA, panning and the EQ to shape the sound. Experiment with bringing external gear into the Eurorack format and then shape and modulate those sounds them on the way in!Try patching Stereo Strip anywhere you would place a VCA in a system and/or explore its EQ and voltage controlled panning, which are rarer additions to the sound sculpting options for the Eurorack format. This module is designed in collaboration with Ben Wilson aka Divkid.Features:• 3 band EQ• Panning (manual and voltage controlled)• VCA level control (manual or voltage controlled)• 3 way performance muting (on-off-momentary)• Soft clipping limiter (distortion!)• Line level input and/or output adjustmentDIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. The CubuSynth Dual CS-20 VCF is a versatile module that combines two 12db filter cores in a dual/stereo configuration. It is inspired by the iconic Korg MS-20 synthesizer, offering similar sound characteristics while the resonance can be pushed even further. The module provides multiple filter modes, including low pass and high pass, which can be blended together to create a diverse range of filter responses. This allows you to shape your audio signal in various ways, from smooth and warm low pass filtering to more aggressive high pass filtering. One of the standout features of the CS-20 VCF is its self-oscillating resonance capability. When the resonance is turned up, the filter produces a sine wave that can be used as an additional sound source. This feature adds to the versatility of the module, allowing you to create complex and evolving sounds and even cross-FM modulation possibilities. The frequency and resonance parameters can be controlled via control voltage (CV) inputs. The frequency CV input can be attenuverted, meaning it can both attenuate and invert the incoming CV signal. This gives you precise control over the modulation depth and direction for frequency modulation. The resonance CV input includes an attenuator, allowing you to adjust the modulation depth for the resonance parameter. This feature gives you the flexibility to add dynamic and expressive modulation to your sounds.Additionally, the CS-20 VCF provides a 1V/Oct input, which allows you to control the filter's frequency using a standard 1V/Oct control voltage. This input is stable over a range of at least 2 to 3 octaves, ensuring melodic tracking and integration with other modular synthesizer components.Overall, the CubuSynth Dual CS-20 VCF offers a powerful and flexible filtering solution with intuitive routing and modulation options. It is designed to inspire creativity and provide a wide range of sonic possibilities for your modular synthesizer setup.Features:• 2 individual Filter cores with common Frequency and Resonance controls• CV control over Frequency and Resonance for each Filter core• Self-oscillating Resonance with LED feedback circuit (visible on the Front)• 1 V/oct input, tracking over 2~3 octaves• Frequency Range: 22 Hz - 20 kHz• Blend between LP / HP Filter modes• Ability to use as 2 pole (12db) stereo HP/LP Filter, 4 pole (24db) mono LP/HP or a Band Pass (12db) Filter• Cross FM Modulation possibleDIY-Kit-Type:THT-Kit-1. The Twin Drive is a 4 HP Drive/Distortion module inspired by the classic Minimoog input gain. Twin Drive is a stereo version of the Mini Drive, with left and right inputs – the left input is normalled to both outputs so the module can be used with mono signals as well. The Drive knob goes from zero/silent to lots of gain. It’s a dirty gain for modular level and works well with line level inputs – like a drum machine. It’s not suited as an external input for guitar.Using this module is a great way to make a polite sound source into something less polite, but always experiment with the levels! – the output can sound completely different depending on the settings and it can also be used to just add a nice bit of warmth to your input. While it doesn’t have CV in you can either put a VCA or a filter before to modify the amount of grime, or get more experimental and try blasting an LFO or a sequence into one input to see what it does to audio in the other input.DIY-Kit-Type:SMD-Kit-1. Horrorscape Synthesizer - sculpting feedback into sonic art!Audrey II is a horrorscape synthesizer designed for fearless exploration of feedback. Unpredictable yet compelling, it transforms chaotic sound into immersive soundscapes. From deep, haunting drones to screeching, otherworldly tones, Audrey II is a sonic beast like no other.Feedback Synthesis? What is feedback, really? It’s that magical moment when sound loops on itself, evolving into something wild. With Audrey II, we’re taking feedback to the next level using Karplus-Strong synthesis—a fancy term for turning short bursts of noise into rich, self-sustaining tones. Think digital strings, but way cooler.Digital WitchcraftSome say analog is the only way to get that sound… We were surprised too when we heard the first burst of noise coming through our headphones. That warmth, the grit, the unpredictability—it was all there. But here’s the twist: Audrey II is 100% digital, running on the almighty Daisy Seed platform.Built from the ground up to emulate analog chaos, digital bits power every nuance of Audrey II’s feedback, distortion, and reverb-drenched echoes. It’s pure digital magic that doesn’t just imitate analog—it embraces and amplifies it. What you hear isn’t just a close approximation; it’s a whole new breed of sound that pushes digital synthesis into uncharted territory.Pristine SoundPowered by the Daisy Seed microcontroller, Audrey II delivers 96kHz / 24-bit audio with the speed of an ARM Cortex-M7 at 480MHz. Equipped with 64MB of SDRAM, it handles complex feedback, drones, and effects seamlessly, pushing digital synthesis into rich, analog-like territory. The Signal Flow01. Karplus-Strong Synthesis & DistortionThe signal begins with Karplus-Strong synthesis, a method of string synthesis that creates resonant, droning tones—adding layers of harmonics to emulate organic vibrations, while feedback and distortion weave in raw, aggressive edges.02. ReverbNext, the signal passes through a rich, spacious reverb, allowing the drone and feedback to bloom, creating haunting and immersive atmospheres.03. FiltersFollowing the reverb, Audrey II utilizes high-pass and low-pass filters with a body control to shape the sound further, revealing hidden overtones and harmonic textures that can add either warmth or an eerie sharpness to the feedback.04. Tape Delay EmulationFinally, the signal reaches a tape delay emulator that further degrades and expands the sound, adding layers of movement, modulation, and a classic tape echo feel that’s both nostalgic and unpredictable.05. Stereo OutputTo top it all off, Audrey II’s stereo output widens the soundstage, creating a sense of depth and space that immerses you in rich, layered textures. With stereo feedback flowing through the chain, each element takes on new dimensions, allowing you to push the boundaries of sonic space.Driven & Open SourceAudrey II is a collaborative project born from the Synthux Academy community, where music technology enthusiasts, designers, and engineers come together to push creative boundaries. Developed by Nick Donadson from Infrasonic Audio and designed by Roey Tsemah, founder of Synthux Academy, Audrey II embodies the spirit of exploration and innovation that drives this community.Audrey II’s firmware is available on our GitHub, inviting anyone to dive into the code, make modifications, or build upon its foundation. This open-source approach empowers makers not only to experiment with Audrey II’s sound but to shape its future, contribute enhancements, and share discoveries with the Synthux Academy community.
