Morphader is a performative tool designed to make multichannel CV/Audio crossfade easy and comfortable. Fading from one quad CV/audio scene to another. The core of the module has four CV controlled crossfaders, each with their individual control and a master fader to control them all. The module mixes the four crossfades at its fourth output, thanks to a clever normalization scheme. Muxlicer is a sequential signal processor designed for add a huge range of special functions to your modular setup in the minimum space.Is divided in three main blocks: a Digital Step Controller, a Gate Generator and an Analog Switch (a.k.a. Mux/DeMux)The module is designed with high “function to HP ratio” philosophy , to have maximum flexibility in minimum space.An analog switch is a device capable of switching or routing analog signals. In the case of Muxlicer, the switch is reversible, so you can send 8 different signals to 1 destination and viceversa.Through Common I/O you can either send a signal to the Mux I/Os or receive a signal from them. (Depending on how the module is connected). It is also used as CV Out when nothing is connected to “All In” or “Mux I/Os”. The eight Mux I/Os are normalled to “All In” jack, so any signal present at this input will go to all of them.Imagine you want to send a signal to steps 1,2,4,5,6 and 8 and two more signals to 3 and 7 respectively. Percall is a percussive oriented module that will shape four different sound sources into percussive sounds. Percall has four VCAs with dedicated decay envelopes and a mixer, so you can prepare a percussion submix. Added strength input will provide extra dynamics to the sounds! The Dannysound Dynamics is a compressor / expander originally designed to process drums but like most processing devices, it can be used for a wide variety of applications.The module comprises of:• Compressor / Expander• Sub Bass Enhancer• 3 Band Inductor-based EQ• Harmonic ExciterThe compressor / expander section uses a discrete transistor-based circuit that allows for soft clipping when overdriven.The envelope detector is known as a feedforward type of circuit; taking it’s input from the signal before it goes to the compressor rather than after.This type of circuit is known for having fast attack times.The Sub Bass enhancer has its own compression circuit that “ducks” the initial transient. This allows the sub bass to be increased without distortionon the transient peaks increasing the overall level.There is a MIX control to allow the unprocessed signal to be mixed back in with the processed signal.The 3 band EQ is an inductor based LCR design. Even though wavefolding is more of a west coast synthesis concept, it’s a great addition to the otherwise very east coast mki x es.edu DIY system. Why? Because it can provide a ton of unusual timbres for your patches: from a slight dash of brightness to harsh metallic drones. That’s why we came up with this super simple BJT-based double wavefolder.We – Erica Synths and Moritz Klein – have developed a series of educational DIY kits under the brand name mki x es.EDU with one specific goal in mind: to teach people with little-to-no prior experience how to design analog synthesizer circuits from scratch. What you’ll find in the box is not simply meant to be soldered together and then disappear in your rack. Instead, we want to take you through the circuit design process step by step, explaining every choice we’ve made and how it impacts the finished module.In total, we have developed 9 kits to build a fully-featured modular monosynth: a sequencer, a VCO, a wavefolder, a noise/S&H module, a mixer, a VCF, an Envelope generator, a dual VCA, and an output stereo mixer with a headphone amplifier.
