Features:Flexible input/output layoutThe module detects the presence of jacks on its gate inputs to group its segments: whether it is configured as a complex 6-stage envelope, or 6 individual envelopes, or 3+3, 2+4... depends simply on how you patch it. Dummy patch cables might come handy!When used as a multi-segment envelope, a segment activation signal is produced on all secondary outputs - for example to trigger an external event when an ADSR envelope enters its decay, sustain or release stages.In case more than 6 segments are required, up to six modules can be chained together thanks to a connector at the back of the module.Three segment types• Ramp segments go from one voltage to another, in a CV-controlled amount of time, with an adjustable curve (accelerating, uniform, decelerating). They are the building block used for the attack, decay or release segments in envelopes... or for LFOs.• Hold segments stay at a constant (but CV-controllable) voltage for a programmable amount of time. Kickall is a 6HP compact synth voice that features everything needed to make a big fat Kick sound. A stable VCO that tracks V/Oct, a couple of VCAs, envelopes for volume and pitch and an aggressive waveshaper.The module has been designed with a kick synthesis patch in mind.The audio path consists of a sinewave oscillator that passes across a Square Waveshaper and two VCA’s. Percall is a percussive oriented module that will shape four different sound sources into percussive sounds. Percall has four VCAs with dedicated decay envelopes and a mixer, so you can prepare a percussion submix. Added strength input will provide extra dynamics to the sounds! To round up the module, audio inputs are normaled from one to two and from three to four, spicing them up with choke control. Analog Thru-Zero Wavefolding VCO/LFOPony VCO is a fully analog Thru-Zero oscillator with wavefolder and dedicated VCA in only 4HP. The module offers great stability and tuning capabilities thanks to its powerful core, based on Sound Semiconductors IC. It comes with range selector, that allows it to go down to LFO range, as well as octave and waveform selectors.In Through Zero oscillators, frequency is controlled by either positive and negative voltage. If FM CV goes below zero, the core will continue oscillating inverting its phase. This “little” change of behaviour allows the core to create a whole new range of timbres that are just impossible to achieve with regular VCOs. If you set the module as LFO, the range of funky modulations will be endless!There is a separate panel for conversion to 1U available. The Sampling Modulator is a multi-function module that lies somewhere between a VCO, a Sample & Hold, and an 8 step trigger sequencer.Sequencer Clocked Sample & Hold In this mode it acts like a regular Sample and Hold (S&H) but since it is “sequencer clocked”, it is capable of much more interesting patterns than the usual S&H melodies.The CLOCK input can work in two ways: 1. As a typical clock 2. In “positive going hard sync” mode allowing you to create shuffling and polyrythmic effects.The HOLD input can be used to keep certain notes playing.Analog Down-Sampling Effect In this mode (with the clock running at audio rates) you can go from nasty and harsh sampling rate reduction to an almost clean signal. (The clock run up to 25Khz without external CV and up to 200Khz with CV on the input).Sampling Modulator/Shaper Thanks to the V/Oct clock, by feeding a simple waveshape such as a sine wave to IN, and pitch CV to the VCO as well as to the Sampling Modulator CV input, their related frequencies and aliasing caused by the sampling rate reduction are capable of creating clangorous metallic sounds, 8 bit textures and much more.The game becomes much more interesting when you try to destroy the wave by flipping on and off the switches of the sequencer (which at times can make it sound like three VCOs running in unison).To understand how the Sampling Modulator works, keep in mind that we are working with a temperature compensated ramp core VCO with more than 4 octaves of tracking.
